My Story

At Hay Bars & Co LLC, we believe the sweetest memories aren't just made around the table—they begin in the kitchen.

I grew up in a small town where family and community were simply a way of life. Neighbors gathered for backyard cookouts, Sundays meant dinner at my grandmother's house, and summer weekends were spent on the Lake with family, sharing home-cooked meals after long days together.

For as long as I can remember, I loved helping my mother and grandmother prepare homemade desserts for every family gathering. Looking back, it wasn't just the baking that made those moments special—it was what happened while we baked.

Everyone always gathered in the kitchen.

The kitchen was where stories were told, laughter echoed through the house, and recipes were shared from one generation to the next. It was where I learned that the best ingredients aren't found in a recipe card—they're found in patience, hard work, kindness, and taking the time to create something for the people you love.

Family has always been the foundation of my life. The values of integrity, strong character, generosity, and putting family first were passed down by my grandparents and reinforced every day by my parents. Those lessons shaped who I am and continue to guide everything I do.

That's why the name Hay means more than a family name.

It represents a legacy of faith in one another, honest work, enduring traditions, and the belief that the time we spend together is life's greatest gift. Hay Bars & Co LLC was created to carry that legacy forward.

Even as I grew older, I never lost my love for baking. Every batch takes me back to those childhood moments in the kitchen—standing beside my mother and grandmother, learning recipes, listening to family stories, and discovering that the simplest moments often become the most treasured memories.

Today, every dessert bar is handcrafted with the same care and attention that filled those family kitchens. My hope is that whether you're celebrating a birthday, bringing dessert to a cookout, gathering for Sunday dinner, or simply sharing something sweet over coffee, our bars become a small part of your own family's traditions.

Because at Hay Bars & Co LLC, we believe desserts do more than satisfy a sweet tooth—they bring people together.

Just like they always have in my family's kitchen.
